Are you being too nice?

When I read the article ‘Is Your Leadership Style Too Nice?’, I knew I had to share it. The article makes a powerful point: being a nice leader is not the same as being a great leader. 

I see this play out so often in dental practices and I’ve been guilty of it myself. Leaders, in an effort to protect culture and retain team members, tolerate behaviors that actually undermine trust, standards, and morale. Strong, healthy cultures aren’t built by avoiding hard conversations; they’re built when leaders are both kind andclear about expectations.
